It's surprisingly difficult - moving it normally doesn't work, and it doesn't seem to be subject to the same API Explorer assumes the only thing adjusting the taskbar size will be a user. Dockable Toolbar
I just bought a Gateway and I don't have it docked or anything like that the only way I can relate is that the taskbar goes bonko after comming out of sleep mode. and Tweak seems to have either stabilized the taskbar, or taken control of it. Either way, my taskbar now works, and keeps working.
